The Anyang Inline Roller Stadium was purpose built to host the 2006 World Roller Speed Skating Championships in September offering the latest technology on a gross area of 30,000 m2. It is located in the outskirts of Anyang near the Anyang Sports Complex.

The advantages of the new Anyang Inline Roller Stadium are that both venues, track and road, are in the same complex.

The complex was constructed for this event. The track is of similar characteristic to the used one in 2004 World Championships in Abruzzo (Italy). It is 200 meters in length by 6 meters wide with a synthetic coating.

The road circuit is 400 meters long by 8 meters wide and promises to be really fast.

There is a new stadium for spectators and athletes to enjoy which includes toilet facilities, a press room, accreditations, VIP room, doping control room, restaurant and much more.

The marathon will be held on a nice urban circuit of 4 km trough the Pyengchon Avenue into the city centre in front of the Anyang City Hall.
